Gary Hall

Managing Director, joined OPP in 1998. A graduate in Drama from Loughborough University, and with a Certificate in Acting from a London drama school, he then changed direction and moved into public relations and design, working for French Jones in Henley, handling everything from major product launches to contentious environmental planning decisions. In 1990, Gary moved to Open University Press in Buckingham to become promotions manager and later joined the senior management team, overseeing all marketing and publicity for the company's academic and professional publishing programme.

 

Matthew Surzyn

Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, joined OPP in 2007 from Oxbow Books in Oxford, where he was Trade Sales and Distribution Manager. He has an MSc in Information Science, and has worked within university libraries, academic book retail and academic book wholesale.

 

Fiona Richman

Sales and Marketing Administrator. Fiona is a skilled publishing professional with many years’ experience in academic, educational and professional publishing.  She joined the Oxford Publicity Partnership from McGraw-Hill Education where she was most recently Programme Manager, guiding authors to create high quality print and digital resources across a range of disciplines.  She has a degree in International Marketing with German. 

 

Katherine Lowe

Publicist, with years of experience in trade and academic publishing promoting non-fiction titles, including many years spent working for McGraw-Hill Education. Katherine is skilled at securing media coverage for new titles in the national press as well as specialist and broadcast media, and has organised many high-profile speaking opportunities for authors.
