Elevating publisher presence across borders

A dedicated UK-based partner for international publishers looking to grow their presence in the UK and European markets.

Over 30 years supporting academic and professional publishers

Founded in 1989, The Oxford Publicity Partnership Ltd (OPP) successfully manages sales, marketing and publicity for publishers

We work for some of the most highly regarded publishing companies in the UK, Europe, and north America. These include academic publishers specialising in scholarly works and important non-fiction titles, together with professional publishers producing materials for specific medical, technical, or scientific audiences and small presses often specialising in niche genres to reach specific literary communities.

Providing a range of solutions for a variety of clients, OPP has a reputation for garnering attention for your publishing, a knack for defining what is right for your sales growth, while ensuring author retention and the development of your name and brand recognition.

What guides the way we work with every publisher we support.

Expertise

With over three decades of experience in the academic and professional publishing world, we understand the nuances of your audience, your books, and your goals. Our deep knowledge of the UK and European markets means we can offer tailored, practical, and strategic advice — not just broad marketing generalisations.

We take pride in being the kind of partner you can depend on. Our relationships with clients often span many years because we consistently deliver on what we promise and remain responsive to changing needs. From day-to-day support to urgent promotional activity, our team is hands-on, accessible, and focused on delivering results — without fuss.

We believe that effective communication is essential — especially when operating across markets and time zones. Our aim is always to make the complex feel straightforward. Whether it’s explaining market trends, managing title launches or interpreting sales data, we keep our messaging clear, practical, and free of unnecessary jargon.
